Happy Horse Saddlery was officially opened by William & Pippa Funnell on 12th February 2006, with Century FM presenter Derek Hatton acting as MC.

Since then we have steadily grown more and more busy and tailored the shop along the way to suit everyone’s needs.  We attribute our continued success to our friendly helpful staff who are all experienced riders and can assist with any equine need.  If we don’t stock what you want, we are always happy to source a request.

Our aim is to offer ‘everything under one roof’ when time spent with your horse is always at a premium.

We offer on site rug washing facilities – tokens can be purchased from the shop and the machines used as self-service, or we can carry out service washes on your behalf with a turnaround of 2-3 days.

The shop offers everything for the horse and rider including giftware (and the ever popular Breyer), horse feed and pet corner.  We stock all supplements and are licensed to sell horse, dog and cat wormers as well as Frontline flea control.

Shavings, hay and straw can also be purchased, or why not make use of our free delivery service* to avoid last minute panics!

The adjoining café s a great meeting place for both horsey and non horsey people and has proved to be a great place to ‘park ones husband’ whilst shopping!
